Alexandra/Sasha Streshna (b. 1987, Lviv, Ukraine) lives and works in Athens since 1999.

Her practice and artistic research focus on figurative painting.Some of the recurring themes in her paintings (oil on canvas) are among others the process of myth-making and glorification, stereotypical portrayals of heroes and authority, violence and uprising, and the instrumentalization of historical testimony.
