Jewellery Was Never Innocent explores the intimate relationship between the body and the objects we choose to wear. Bringing together artists, designers, architects, photographers, filmmakers, and creative practitioners from various disciplines, the exhibition questions where the body ends and the object begins. Moving beyond decoration, the works explore jewellery as sculpture, protection, identity, memory, transformation, and desire—revealing how objects worn on the body can shape not only how we appear, but who we become.

The exhibition will be presented  in September 2026 in Milan, and in November 2026 at the Ilias Lalaounis Jewelry Museum in Athens.
